 David Mercer
Lead Pastor
Dave has pastored for over 27 years. He loves people and has a passion for communicating the truths of the Bible. He loves to read, sing, listen to music, and walk for exercise. He and his wife, Renee, have four children: Whitley, Ethan, Isaac, and Josiah. |
Josh loves Jesus, teens, and music. He hangs out with teens at the beach, in the youth room playing ping pong, or just sitting around talking. Josh & his wife Suzie have recently joined us after having served in youth ministry in Indiana.

 Amanda Hoskins
Children's Pastor
Amanda loves helping kids to not only learn about Jesus, but finding a lasting, personal relationship with Him. She enjoys connecting with each child and has a passion for Special Needs children and helping and encouraging each child and adult to see each other the way Christ sees us, from the inside out. Amanda enjoys reading and writing over a good cup of tea and has her Masters Degree in Ministry Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University. |
Sue is currently working with our counseling needs. She loves her husband Larry, her adult children, her two grandsons, and she especially loves to read.

Lay Minister
Bob oversees our Celebrate Recovery program which meets every Friday night. He has a heart for those with hurts, hang ups, and habits to which the Celebrate Recovery program ministers. He and his wife Laura both grew up in the Blue Water area and live in Port Huron. |
 Dave Smith
Minister of Music
Dave is a dedicated volunteer who loves The Lord, singing, and worship. He directs the Hillside Sanctuary Choir as well as leads worship every Sunday. He and his wife Theresa have two grown sons and one granddaughter. He has an electrifying personality and can be found at Stephenson Electric during the week. |
AXIS Director
On Saturday nights you'll find Brian doing what he loves... preparing and leading worship for Axis. His love of God, family, and music are evident in all he does. You may also know Brian as the host of WNFR's "Music in the Morning" each weekday. Brian and his wife Heather are blessed to be the parents of an adorable daughter, Ashlyn Joy. |
